Privacy Policy
Tollgate collects the minimum data needed to launch a product and communicate with waitlist signups. This page explains what that means in practice.
1. What we collect from the waitlist
- Email address — so we can tell you when Tollgate launches.
- GitHub handle — so we can see what you're building and prioritise the beta.
We do not collect IP addresses for marketing purposes. We do not set marketing cookies. We do not ship Google Analytics — optional privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible or Umami) are self-hosted or cookie-free and only emit pageview-level data.
2. What we do with it
- Send you launch and beta-access emails.
- Look at your GitHub to understand your use case.
- Nothing else.
3. Retention
We treat GDPR as applying universally. If you ask us to delete your waitlist entry, we delete it within 30 days and keep no shadow copies. Contact privacy@tollgatepay.com (placeholder).
4. Data processors
Waitlist entries may be stored in (a) our Neon Postgres cluster (EU-region, hosted on AWS), or (b) Resend (email sender), depending on the deployment configuration. Either way the list of fields is the same.
5. Changes
If we materially change this policy we will email every waitlist member at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
